OverviewMy client, a high-performing independent school in Central London, seeks a skilled Admissions & Student Recruitment Officer to join their welcoming team. This role supports prospective families and students through a first-class admissions experience that reflects the school’s reputation for academic and personal excellence. Location: Central London – onsite. Term: Permanent / Full-Time.The RoleAs the first point of contact for prospective students and families, you will provide a warm, professional and tailored admissions journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment. The role combines operational admissions work with creative input into marketing and student recruitment activities.Key responsibilities include:Acting as the initial and ongoing point of contact for all prospective families, responding to enquiries promptly and professionally.Guiding parents and students through each step of the admissions process with a personalised, supportive and detail-focused approach.Managing the scheduling and smooth delivery of school visits, interviews, assessments and follow-up communication.Supporting with the planning and execution of open days, taster events and other recruitment activities that showcase the school to the highest standard.Collaborating with colleagues in marketing and communications to produce engaging admissions materials, including website content, social media updates, newsletters and brochures.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within admissions systems, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.Building and nurturing strong working relationships with tutors, support staff, senior leadership and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and coordinated admissions experience.About YouThis position will suit an articulate and confident professional who thrives in a front-facing role and enjoys engaging with a wide range of people.
