IQPC leverages a global research base of best practices and customers to produce an unrivalled portfolio of market leading “must attend” events in every industry.Key responsibilities and accountabilitiesAs Marketing Manager, you will have complete bottom-line responsibility for creating and executing innovative, international marketing plans deploying online and offline direct marketing tactics. Specifically, the role involves:Formulating and executing targeted marketing strategies for your portfolio of international eventsForging mutually beneficial marketing partnerships with associations and publicationsUtilising a full range of online marketing tactics, including social media, SEO and PPCNurturing customers up the advocacy ladder by engaging them with tailored marketing copyPreparing all promotional copy and collateralEstablishing close working relationships with our exhibitor clientsEstablishing effective working relationships with speakers and sponsors to gain their buy in to promote our events through podcasts, webinars and webcastsWorking closely with other internal departments to achieve project objectivesHitting agreed targets for direct revenue generation and lead generation whilst closely managing the event marketing budgetDesired skills and ExperienceEducated to degree level 2:1 or equivalent working experience – ideally within marketing or communications2+ years’ marketing experience preferred, ideally gained within B2B publishing, conferences, events, exhibitions or a membership organisationExperience with digital marketing (SEO & SEM, social media etc.)Exceptional interpersonal skillsCommercial mindset – Experience in managing budgets and ROI for maximum profit gainIs a creative problem-solver, detail focused and analytically inclinedAbility to work independently under tight deadlinesSelf-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlookKeen for new experiences, responsibility and accountabilityWhat we offer youA hybrid work environment with an office in central London (3 days in office / 2 days at home)Full training for the role through in-house managers and peers as well as workshops led by external coachesCareer growth opportunities within the company as you gain more experienceA supportive and fair work environment with equal opportunities for allOpportunity to travel internationally to events (Europe and US)25 days holiday entitlement per year (plus 1 extra day for each full year of service up to a max. of 30 days)Health Cash Plan providing a range of wellbeing benefitsLife Assurance SchemeOptional Pension Scheme (3% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution)Access to Victoria Privilege Card (discounts at local retailers, restaurants, etc)Training & DevelopmentTo enable you to achieve your potential, extensive on-going training will be provided throughout your tenure.
