OverviewMarketing Manager for a public sector organisation, on an initial 4 month contract. Remote / hybrid working from London, Portsmouth or Swindon. Rate: £21.15/hour PAYE – 36 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesDeliver marketing plans against key objectives in the organisation’s Corporate Plan including increasing relevance and brand awareness; and encouraging people.Support the Head of Marketing and Senior Marketing and Brand Manager in the development and delivery of strategic plans for brand and marketing, incorporating audience development and creative delivery to increase audience reach and awareness.Support the delivery of the organisation’s work in encouraging Active Participation as part of the Future Strategy.Support the expansion of an audience-led approach to public engagement, underpinned by a strong brand proposition and in-depth customer insight and analysis.Support the Marketing Team to work collaboratively within the Public Engagement group and build trusted relationships across the organisation to source, create and share compelling content.Identify engagement opportunities and work with key partners, funders, stakeholders and creative suppliers to drive campaigns and progress brand partnership opportunities.Work with the Marketing Team and colleagues across Public Engagement to deliver brand and marketing campaign plans that are inspiring, relevant and impactful.Support the Head of Marketing and Senior Marketing and Brand Manager in developing and refreshing the organisation’s visual identity.Work with colleagues across the organisation to deliver strategic insights and ideas from market research, communications monitoring and campaign implementation.Deliver multi-platform, integrated and cost-effective marketing and communications plans, promoting key projects and programmes across Public Engagement.Ensure the organisation attracts new and diverse audiences, especially through embedding and developing the Audience System and rolling it out to the wider sector.Collaborate with the Senior Brand & Marketing Manager and the Photographer (Marketing) to develop an effective approach to people photography that highlights the impact of the organisation’s work on people and communities.Enable key stakeholders and partners to create their own brand content through providing assets, guidelines and templates.Ensure policies are in place to collect and manage data about audiences and stakeholders, and to manage risks to reputation and brand.Deliver multiplatform products, including the CRM and Digital Asset Management systems, to improve understanding of customer interaction, engagement and conversion.Manage resources within budgets and drive continuous improvement in productivity and professional excellence across the Marketing team.Carry out any other relevant duties required by the organisation.Qualifications and ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar marketing roleExperience of delivering integrated, audience-led marketing and engagement strategiesExperience of successfully motivating a high-performing teamDemonstrable experience in managing audience development and market research programmesExperience of managing competing priorities, workflows, briefing processes and delivering projects to completionExperience of managing brand and proposition development; overseeing awareness building and monitoringExperience of quality assurance and risk managementProven experience of developing and managing budgets and procurement of content, creative and media suppliersExperience of working within the heritage, cultural or not-for-profit sectorExcellent communication skills with the ability to build solid relationships and network effectively internally and externallyProactive and resourceful with the ability to implement tactical marketing quickly and efficientlyKnowledge of current and emerging engagement and marketing channelsAbility to translate analytical evidence into actionable insightProven ability to influence and build relationships and work collaborativelyStrong problem-solving skillsStrong creative judgment and ability to inspire excellent visual output and translate brand proposition across platformsDeliver results to agreed targets through cost-effective campaignsExpertise in data handling and data managementAn understanding of the heritage/visitor attractions sectorAbility to deliver commercial goalsEmployment detailsEmployment type: Full-timeLocation: Remote / Hybrid (London, Portsmouth or Swindon site options)Seniority level: Not ApplicableJob function: MarketingIndustry: Government AdministrationIf you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch. #J-18808-Ljbffr
