Join our team as a Marketing Manager and lead the charge in crafting and executing marketing strategies that deliver measurable results for our two Business Units — Imperial and Intelliscape. We’re seeking someone with proven experience in marketing strategy and development to help us grow and innovate.
Imperial is one of the UK's largest and most experienced providers of parking, environmental and traffic management systems. Intelliscape has almost three decades of experience developing sophisticated, mission-critical ITS solutions for customers across the UK and in the USA.
Imperial and Intelliscape are part of the Modaxo group, a global organization bringing together businesses that collectively focus on advancing new technologies and innovations for people transportation. With more than 40 companies representing over 30 brands, Modaxo comprises over 3,300 people, operating from almost 40 countries around the world.
This hybrid role is based in Bristol, UK. You will attend our Bristol office at least once per week and will travel domestically and internationally to meet with internal stakeholders, clients and attend events in the UK.
Job Summary
This role will manage the marketing function for Imperial and Intelliscape in the UK. Working with our small, high-performing sales team, you will be responsible for marketing operations: developing plans, identifying KPIs, delivering campaigns and reviewing effectiveness to ensure continual improvement. You will have the opportunity to exercise your strategic ability when developing marketing plans and be empowered to deliver them.
Responsibilities
You will design and deliver the Imperial and Intelliscape marketing strategy, producing compelling marketing materials that position our brand as an industry leader, engage key clients and targets, and generate revenue opportunities with existing customers and new business leads. In more detail the role will cover:
Lead the development of, and manage the delivery of, a marketing plan to achieve strategic objectives
Content Marketing
Work with internal knowledge holders to produce rich content that engages the target audience (including case studies, articles, white papers, blogs etc.)
External communications, Public Relations and Reputation Management
Event Management
Manage our annual client user forums, plus occasional participation at major industry exhibitions
In-person and web-based events and exhibition planning and delivery
Account-Based Marketing
Develop and deliver Account-Based Marketing plans to engage with identified key contacts
Digital Marketing
Promote content through digital channels including email, social media, SEO and the company website
Ensure maximum efficiency in all areas, including content, landing pages, calls to action, emails and other digital campaign assets
Build and deliver lead generation and promotional and nurturing campaigns to meet and surpass revenue targets
Reporting and Analysis
Monitor and manage marketing performance using the HubSpot marketing platform
Manage metrics and reporting to show progress and measure ROI
Work closely with the senior leadership team to adjust strategy and execution as required, based on results
Other duties
Assist in ad-hoc projects
Marketing budget management and ROI evaluation
Digital and physical asset design and production, including DTP, photography and videography
Internal communications, intranet and website maintenance
Any other duties assigned by your line manager
Skills and Experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a B2B, content-focused marketing role, including -
Proven experience in content creation
Experience of building sales pipeline
Experience of lead qualification and nurturing
Exceptional writing ability across a range of mediums, with a proven track record in conveying complex ideas clearly through written materials
Excellent project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to effectively interface with senior management, product teams, external agencies and customers
Demonstrable passion for building relationships and supporting sales activity
Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally, e.g. to attend trade and training events
