This is a unique opportunity to shape our brand, drive our digital presence, and directly contribute to business growth.Reporting directly to one of our MDs, you’ll work hand‑in‑hand to align all marketing activities with our overarching business goals. If you’re a proactive and creative marketer with a passion for recruitment and technology, we want to hear from you!MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MARKETING EXPERIENCE WITHIN A RECRUITMENT OR SEARCH BUSINESS.We operate a flexible, hybrid working approach. You’ll be in the Manchester or London office a minimum of 2/3 days per week so can be based commutable of either of these locations.ResponsibilitiesWebsite Management: Developing, maintaining, and optimising our website for SEO and tracking performance with Google Analytics.Job Board Strategy: Managing contracts, negotiating, and analysing ROI of job board usage.Tech Stack Expertise: Acting as the go‑to expert for our recruitment software (Bullhorn, LogicMelon, SourceBreaker), assessing new tools, and ensuring GDPR compliance.LinkedIn Management: Overseeing consultant LinkedIn accounts, providing training and best practice guidance.Social Media Management: Managing the LinkedIn company page. Creating content schedules and running campaigns across LinkedIn and Instagram to raise brand awareness.Event Management: Planning, coordinating, and promoting MERJE’s involvement in industry events.Brand & Strategy Development: Evolving our brand imagery and tone, creating marketing strategies, and ensuring consistent branding.Content Creation: Producing a wide variety of content, including articles, reports, case studies, and training documents.Email Marketing: Running regular email campaigns and supporting consultants with their business development mailshots.Third‑Party Relationships: Managing supplier relationships and partnerships with industry affiliates.Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest marketing, industry, and recruitment trends through webinars and literature.QualificationsDemonstrable experience in digital marketing, including SEO, Google Analytics, and social media management.Familiarity with or a strong aptitude for learning recruitment tech stacks (experience with Bullhorn would be a significant advantage).Content creation skills (we use Canva but open to other tech).Strong project management and organisational abilities, capable of juggling multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing plans.A proactive approach to continuous learning and staying informed about industry trends.Experience in the recruitment sector is highly desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate a keen interest and transferable skills.BenefitsPrizes, bonuses, and incentives awarded throughout the year.Regular team and business‑wide socials, events, evenings out, activity days, day & overnight trips, etc.Forward‑thinking approach to work, with flexible working and a mature, down‑to‑earth culture.Vibrant, modern, and stimulating office environments.Salary sacrifice pension scheme.And more!
