OverviewMarketing Manager role at Tiro (remote). Department: Business Development. Location: Remote. Compensation: £50,000 / year.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead the marketing function – develop and deliver the full marketing strategy from the ground up.Manage external agencies – own relationships with creative, digital, and PR agencies; set expectations, track performance, and hold them accountable.Track and manage marketing budgets – ensure efficient spend and ROI.Build a marketing team over time – lay the foundations for scaling the marketing function, including defining roles, responsibilities, and processes as the business grows.Lead B2B marketing activity – plan and execute marketing campaigns for business audiences and decision-makers.Vertical-specific campaigns – develop tailored messaging, campaigns, and content for key industry verticals.Case studies & proof points – lead creation of customer success stories, testimonials, and sector-specific case studies.Email marketing – plan, build, and send email campaigns for lead generation, engagement, and brand awareness.Website updates & management – use WordPress to manage and update content, structure, and functionality.Produce quick-turnaround assets – create social visuals and collateral when agency support isn’t required.Event marketing – support and promote events, including logistics, promotion, and follow-up.Project management – own timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment across marketing projects.Ensure GDPR compliance – handle customer and prospect data responsibly across marketing activities.Contribute to content & SEO strategy – support creation and optimisation of web content for organic growth.Internal communications – act as the marketing voice across the business.Support PR & brand awareness – work with agencies or freelancers to manage PR opportunities.Data, reporting, and optimisation – track KPIs, report performance, and iterate using analytics tools.CRM & Salesforce marketing alignment – understand and leverage CRM systems to support lead management and reporting.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseWe’re looking for the right attitude and aptitude.
