GPW Recruitment are working with an established, specialist manufacturer in St Helens to recruit a Marketing Manager to work 3 days.
In this newly created role you will report to the Managing Director with a focus on growing and developing a range of specialist manufactured products into the international defence market.
Candidates are welcome from all industries, however candidates with a qualification or experience in Chemical, Chemistry or Research and Development would be of particular interest
Duties and responsibilities as the Marketing Manager
Manage all marketing activities including campaigns, events, blogs, digital marketing to translate business goals into engagement, leads and revenue.
Develop and drive comprehensive digital plans for awareness and lead generation campaigns with KPIs and reporting metrics to assess campaign success.
Provide creative development and art direction for ads, campaigns and graphics that support sales objectives and build brand awareness.
Write and oversee the creation of sales and marketing materials, press releases, presentations, social media content and website content.
Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best practices to identify opportunities to apply to business strategy and plan.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Identify and target specific campaigns for products and geographical locations within Europe and around the world.
Lead project management for marketing initiatives.
Act as prime driver and thought leader for development of new campaigns and initiatives.
Monitor and analyse the performance of digital marketing campaigns via tools such as Google Analytics and Social Media Analytics.
Experience required for the Marketing Manager role
Proven experience in marketing roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WordPress.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst meeting deadlines and budgets.
Degree level or equivalent in Marketing or related subject.
Proven record of effective communication, capable of articulating complex topics and subject matter.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders.
As the Marketing Manager you will receive
Salary £27,000 pa for 3 days (full time equivalent £45,000 pa)
