This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of global digital marketing trends, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to enhance brand reputation and market presence.As the US Marketing Director, you will be responsible for shaping the company’s reputation, driving brand visibility, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. As an integral member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of Croud’s marketing strategy. Currently, a comprehensive brand review is underway to refine our market positioning, and this role will be pivotal in bringing that brand proposition to life.You will oversee a diverse range of marketing activities, including thought leadership, awards, events, case studies, PR, digital marketing, website & SEO, social media, and crisis and issues management. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the ongoing evolution of Croud’s brand and drive impactful marketing initiatives across the board.Responsibilities:Strategy Development:Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectivesIdentify key marketing opportunities and challenges within the US market integrated with the global strategyLead brand awareness and reputation management initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and positioningOversee thought leadership efforts for Croud’s new brand proposition, currently under developmentExecution & Delivery:Manage the execution of marketing plans across multiple channels, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of all marketing materialsCollaborate with various departments to ensure consistency and alignment in messagingPeople Leadership:Lead, inspire, and motivate the marketing team to achieve high performanceFoster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team cultureProvide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team membersChannel Leadership:Develop and manage external communication channels, including media relations and digital platformsOptimize the use of various channels to maximize reach, engagement, and brand visibilityStay updated on emerging communication platforms and technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of industry trendsReporting & Feedback:Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategiesPrepare regular reports on marketing activities, assessing their impact on business objectivesGather feedback from stakeholders to continuously refine and improve marketing effortsBusiness Growth:Align marketing strategies with business objectives to support and drive growthWork with internal client teams to develop business changing case studies we can market to prospective clients and add to our WebsiteIdentify opportunities to leverage marketing initiatives for business developmentCollaborate closely with the Lead Generation team to support their sales efforts through targeted marketing campaignsExternal Communication:Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other external communicationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholdersManage crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of informationRequired Qualities & Experiences:You have a strong background in marketing within an agency environment, with a proven track record of leading and managing marketing efforts.
