Job Title: Marketing & Communications ManagerLocation: Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire SG10 6EESalary: 26,400 - 28,800 p.a. for 28 hr wk (F.T.E. 33,000 - 36,000)Job type: Permanent, Part TimeThe RoleThe Henry Moore Foundation was founded by the artist in 1977 to encourage public appreciation of the visual arts and is the largest artist-endowed grant-giving foundation in Europe. We hold the principal collection of artworks by Moore, some 20,000 objects, including monumental bronzes, carvings, works on paper and tapestries. Works from the collection are displayed at the artist\'s home in the tranquil hamlet of Perry Green as well as touring in national and international exhibitions.Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Enterprise, the post-holder will devise and deliver effective marketing strategies and innovative PR campaigns to grow audiences for Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, its exhibitions and engagement programme regionally, nationally and internationally - including touring shows.We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual with a proven track record of delivering campaigns, ideally within the cultural sector. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of marketing and communications, with the ability to develop strategies, create compelling content and maximise engagement across a range of platforms. Well-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential, together with a flair to produce engaging content. A good knowledge of the current media landscape is equally important, alongside confidence in using databases, website content management system, customer relationship management and design tools such as Photoshop.The CandidateEducated to degree level or equivalentAt least two years\' experience delivering marketing and communications campaigns, ideally within the cultural sectorProven experience of building strong relationships with the media and understanding of the current media landscapeExperience managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and securing best valueFamiliarity with effective review and evaluation processesExcellent copywriting skills with strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt tone and content for different audiencesStrong communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasivelyAbility to understand and respond to the motivations of diverse audiences, from academics to general visitors, creating campaigns that resonateHigh level of digital competency, including Microsoft Office, databases, website CMS, social media platforms, and design tools such as PhotoshopKnowledge of GDPR processes and best practice in a marketing contextA motivated self-starter with a proactive and solutions-focused approachA collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to bring colleagues and stakeholders with youHighly organised, able to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and remain calm under pressurePassionate about arts and culture, with a demonstrable interest in the visual artsFlexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as requiredInterviews will take place for shortlisted candidates in Perry Green, Hertfordshire on Tuesday 21 October 2025.Please note CVs alone will not be accepted.
