OverviewLocation: Based at Head office in Sevenoaks, with ability to travel to on-site meetings to hotels within the collection as required. We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Communications & Engagement Manager to join Hand Picked Hotels on a 12-month maternity cover contract.ResponsibilitiesCentral Marketing Communications: deliver seasonal and F&B campaigns, manage branded materials (menus, brochures, templates), work with our Digital Team to keep web content fresh, and ensure hotels have the assets they need.Engagement & Events Marketing: support weddings, conferences, and divisional events with targeted campaigns and local activations that drive awareness and bookings. liaise daily with hotel GMs, Sales & Revenue teams, central functions, and external partners (designers, copywriters, production) to ensure everything lands on time, on brand, and with impact.QualificationsCurrent Marketing communications experience, ideally in hospitality, leisure, or lifestyle brands.Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.Confident working with external suppliers (designers, copywriters, production) to deliver assets.Good understanding of digital marketing channels, including email, websites, and social.Excellent attention to detail (copy, design, brand standards).Ability to build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders (hotel GMs, central functions).Desirable: Experience in events or engagement marketing.Knowledge of CMS/web content management.Experience in multi-site or luxury brand environments.Company profileHand Picked Hotels was founded in 2001 by owner and Chairman, Julia Hands MBE, and today remains a family-owned group with 21 unique luxury country houses and coastal retreats.
