We're looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Assistant to join our team. Role Overview This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in marketing. The Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the wider marketing function and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The role involves coordination, communication, content support, reporting, and administrative responsibilities to assist in the delivery of impactful marketing campaigns and initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Monitor shared inboxes and action or forward emails as needed Log and manage marketing tasks using Trello, action requests where possible Respond to Google and Trustpilot reviews, and liaise with branches where required and coordinate social posts Handle local marketing requests and manage local marketing event kits Support planning and logistics for conferences and exhibitions Maintain and update the internal marketing portal Track industry award opportunities and update the awards roadmap Report on marketing campaign performance and KPIs Compile monthly reports Update Sales and Marketing calendars Support newsletter creation by gathering and formatting content Monitor social media activity, tags, and engagement Conduct keyword and competitor research to support content strategy Share relevant industry news with the marketing team Provide general support to the Marketing and Sales team Manage orders, stock levels, and queries related to promotional material
Key Skills & Attributes
Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication A proactive, can-do attitude Attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Familiarity with tools like Trello, Google Suite, and social media platforms (preferred) Willingness to learn and grow within a marketing environment
Qualifications
A degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field is desirable but not essential Previous experience, such as apprenticeships or placement years in a marketing or administrative role, would be advantageous
