In this role, you will join a highly motivated and diverse team, supporting the marketing communication needs of the Global Business Line Pulp, Paper & Fiber within the ABB Process Industries Division.

As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will be a key player in creating, managing, and reviewing programs, messages, materials, and activities that support the global Pulp, Paper & Fiber strategy.

You will work closely with the Business Line Communications Leads to develop, localize, and implement integrated marketing communications programs - including marketing communications, web content, and digital marketing - to educate and inform stakeholders such as customers, employees, trade media, and interest groups about ABB’s portfolio and references.

You will ensure executional excellence across all communications, aligned with brand positioning, identity, and global/local strategy.

This role contributes to the Pulp, Paper & Fiber segment within the ABB Process Industries Division.

The work model for this role is remote. We offer flexibility regarding the role’s location within Europe. While applications from across the region are welcome, Switzerland is currently not our primary hiring focus.

You will be mainly accountable for:

To be successful, you bring:
A minimum of five years of experience in marketing communications, ideally within an agency or a related B2B industry, along with strong project management capabilities that enable you to handle multiple projects simultaneously. You offer excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to explain complex technology in an engaging, accessible way. You bring strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, paired with a creative and innovative mindset that enables you to generate fresh ideas while maintaining consistency with brand and Business Line positioning.

You have a solution-oriented, self-starter mentality and a passion for both strategic and analytical thinking. Your background includes knowledge of digital marketing and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and Pardot, as well as the business acumen needed to develop a deep understanding of the portfolio and market. You are collaborative, a strong networker, and a supportive team player. Basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is considered an advantage.
