Overview Role: Marketing and Communications Officer Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum Location: Deeside, CH5 Hours: Days, Monday – Friday Benefits: Private Health Insurance, Life Assurance, Enhanced Annual Leave, Enhanced Pension Contributions Awards: Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024; BioNow Business Growth Award Winner 2024 The Opportunity We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our company as a Marketing and Communications Officer who is willing to jump in and take on this new role. The Marketing and Communications Officer will support the commercial team by creating content, tracking engagement and supporting Head of Commercial with event organisation. The responsibilities of this role will accelerate lead generation. This role is ideal for early career digital marketeer with minimum 2 years’ experience in a communications or marketing agency or in a similar functional role. This role will be supported by and work closely with the Head of Commercial, a communications agency and an events consultant. Key Accountabilities
Content Creation
Creation of creative and engaging content for the website and LinkedIn. Assist with creative briefs including those for medical congresses, materials and internal communications.
Website Administration
Serve as a key contact for the Website designer when updates are required. Monitor and report website engagement using Google Analytics.
Social Media
Monitor and report LinkedIn engagement. Conduct Market Research on LinkedIn and other websites, tracking stakeholder activity, and gathering trends and competitive insights.
Event Management
Support Event Management administration. Including bookings, liaising with the graphic design agency, transport and stand designers.
Provide general administrative support to the Commercial and Innovation team, including organising files, scheduling meetings and managing event funding administration. Opportunity to get involved with any relevant cross functional projects. Skills, Qualifications and Experience Essential
Educated to GSCE level, including English and Math Proficient IT skills (presentations, graphics, websites, social) and digital creative skills (e.g. Canva, video creation). Time management and planning skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills Minimum 2 years’ experience in a communications or marketing agency or similar role in a similar function. A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for marketing and communications.
