This role would suit an agency Account Manager or Account Director looking to step up their career, to drive the strategic direction and commercial success of a portfolio of innovative clients in technology, consulting and professional services.Our clients are the B2B giants of tomorrow. They rely on us to shape and deliver their marketing strategies that drive growth. So, this role is not your usual client services role. You need to be able to combine top-end strategy, marketing planning and client relationships skills – and to be front and centre of the agency at all times.You must have strong B2B marketing knowledge, a desire to succeed and the curiosity to discover and learn. Understanding how the key marketing channels fit together is a must – to build successful marketing plans and deliver on clients’ objectives.ResponsibilitiesAccount ManagementOwn and leads the clientBuilds excellent working relationships and trust with key contacts and conducts regular client communicationCreates and presents monthly KPI reports, with analysis on performanceEnsuring work is planned and briefed in accordance with agency processesClient marketing plans and strategiesCreate and execute the client marketing plan and strategy, ensuring this is accurate and regularly updatedIdentifies and pursues opportunities for growth and account developmentCreating brilliant briefs that lead to great outputCommercialsEnsuring the client’s monthly workload is delivered on time and on budgetExceeding the client’s quarterly growth target – in addition to exceeding your own quarterly growth targetManaging and negotiating client contractsCore CompetenciesA professional account managerA passionate and talented marketer, who is constantly improving their digital skills and knowledge, and staying on top of the latest trendsExperience and understanding of core marketing channels (digital, automation, paid, SEO, social media)A passion to deliver excellence, brilliance and quality for clients that delivers resultsSkills / ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of agency Account Management/Account Director (role) experienceMinimum of 3 years of B2B marketing experience – specifically in the areas of:Understanding of the core marketing channels and technologiesExperience of creating and delivering successful marketing and campaign plansExperience with marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot, Pardot)Exposure to broader MarTech (CRM integration, analytics platforms etc.)Understanding of the B2B technology sectorPositive outlook: Driven by what’s possible; embraces challenges.Problem solving: Able to think pragmatically and creatively to overcome technical and strategic issues.Collaboration: Works well with others, supports the wider team.Relationship management: Builds trust with clients and colleagues.Communication: Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.Adaptability: Learns fast, stays current on digital marketing trends and tools.Self-motivated: Ambitious, eager to grow and succeed.Service-focused: Always looking for ways to improve client outcomes.Working ArrangementsWork Environment: Hybrid working – two days a week in the Woking officeWork Hours: Flexible around core hours (10am – 4pm)Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to client locationsRoleMarketing Account ManagerDepartment:Client ServicesReports to: Head of Client ServicesLocation: Office (Woking, Surrey)/RemoteSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 based on experienceNoteBenefits worth telling your friends aboutcremarc needs the contact information you provide to us to contact you about our products and services.
