Join Boxcar Group and The Italian Greyhound as our new Head of Marketing and lead the strategic direction of two standout hospitality brands. We’re looking for a visionary, commercially minded marketing leader to take ownership of brand growth, guest engagement, and long-term loyalty across our diverse and growing portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to shape the voice, visibility, and creative output of two respected brands at the intersection of quality, culture, and community.
About the Role Reporting directly to the Group Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end leadership of our marketing function – setting strategy, guiding creative execution, and ensuring every campaign delivers measurable impact. From neighbourhood activations to digital content, press launches to seasonal moments, you’ll connect every initiative back to what matters most: the guest experience. You’ll work cross-functionally with our leadership, operations, and creative teams to ensure every touchpoint reflects our values and distinct personality – and to make sure we’re not just seen, but remembered.
Key Responsibilities Define and lead brand strategy across both Boxcar Group and The Italian Greyhound, ensuring consistency, clarity, and cut-through in all communications. Own the annual marketing calendar, from ideation to execution – overseeing campaigns that include PR, digital, print, events, and partnership activations. Lead guest acquisition and retention strategies, using data, insight, and innovation to drive measurable growth. Oversee performance marketing and reporting, ensuring budget is used effectively and campaigns are optimised to deliver strong ROI. Manage and mentor the marketing team, including the Head of Content and external collaborators, bringing out their best work and supporting creative development. Act as brand guardian, ensuring our tone, visuals, and messaging are aligned and elevated across all guest and trade-facing platforms. Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Group MD and Operations Director, to align marketing priorities with commercial objectives.
What We’re Looking For A seasoned marketing leader with proven experience in hospitality, food & drink, or premium lifestyle brands. A strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a creative mindset. Comfortable working across digital, experiential, PR, and brand partnerships – and confident in tying everything back to business outcomes. A natural communicator and collaborator, with experience managing both people and projects in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment. Someone who gets excited by quality, seasonality, and storytelling – whether it’s around a chef’s table, a cocktail menu, or a neighbourhood event.
