Head of Marketing

Location: Surrey

Salary: Up to 50k

I am working with a leading B Corp marketing agency, with a keen focus on sustainability. They have a national and international client base and are looking to further expand their presence.

As the business is growing, they are hiring a key member of the team as Head of Marketing. This role requires hands-on delivery, some account management, and a strategic approach to delivery and leadership.

You should have generalist marketing experience, with some senior or leadership experience. This is a well-respected business with a family environment, so they seek someone interested in a long-term position with a team that values mutual respect.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery of marketing campaigns and content
• Implementing strategic and tactical activities
• Managing client accounts
• Copywriting for social media, blogs, landing pages, sales and pitch materials
• Developing GTM strategies and brand marketing
• Identifying growth opportunities
• Managing social media channels
• Travel may be required for client visits; a valid passport is essential

Essential Requirements:

• Extensive marketing experience
• Generalist marketing skills
• Leadership or senior management experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and accounts
• Copywriting and content creation skills
• Social media management experience (LinkedIn and others)
• Proactive, self-motivated, accountable, and driven
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Valid, in-date passport

Nice to Have:

• Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Experience working with external clients in an agency setting
• Experience with sustainability marketing or initiatives
• Genuine interest in sustainability
• Driving license
