Role Summary

Breeze is a fast-growing, Series A-funded B2B insure-tech startup, revolutionising the insurance industry. As we scale, we are seeking a dynamic, energetic and hands-on Head of Marketing to lead and build our marketing function from the ground-up. This is a unique opportunity to define the company’s marketing strategy, drive top-of-funnel growth, and shape our brand’s presence in the industry.

As the first marketing hire, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimising our marketing strategy. You will play a pivotal role in driving lead generation, enhancing brand awareness, and ensuring a strong online presence through data-driven marketing campaigns. This role is both strategic and executional; you must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves while also thinking long-term about scaling the marketing function.

A diverse skill set and the ability to adapt to a fast paced innovative environment is a must. You will need to be able to multitask and continuously look to drive efficiencies across the marketing function whilst building trusted relationships both internally and externally. Breeze will provide you with resources and supportive leadership to help you grow and advance the Breeze marketing function.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of creating and implementing a defined marketing strategy, with a proven track record. Preferably in a high-growth startup environment or with a strong logistics or insurance background.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies, from brand awareness to lead generation.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, SEO, content marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Strong track record of driving measurable growth through data-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of demand generation, performance marketing, and inbound/outbound strategies.
  • Phenomenal communicator, with the ability to build trust both internally and externally with key stakeholders.
  • An ambitious, highly self motivated individual with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business.
  • Resilient, positive attitude with the ability to adapt to different customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment, balancing strategy with execution.

Day-to-Day Job

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Accountability for growth numbers, with responsibility for delivering ambitious targets that drive our business goals.
  • Plan, design, execute, and measure data-driven, multi-channel, marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and brand awareness, both online and offline (events etc.).
  • Optimise and manage the company’s online presence, including SEO, content marketing, and website performance.
  • Own and improve top-of-funnel growth by leveraging inbound and outbound marketing initiatives.
  • Establish and track key marketing metrics, using data insights to refine strategies and improve ROI.
  • Collaborate with the Breeze commercial and product functions to align marketing efforts with lead generation, conversion and distribution goals.
  • Identify and leverage the best tools, platforms, and technologies to support marketing efforts.
  • Work closely with leadership to define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage external partner relationships related to marketing activities e.g. agencies.
