Job Description

Role: Head of Marketing - Chesterfield

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Hours: 08:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Thursday, with a 3:00pm finish on Friday

Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment Group’s Marketing Division is seeking a talented Head of Marketing for a prestigious, award-winning distributor with a diverse brand portfolio. This role offers autonomy to develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and reputation.

You will collaborate with the sales and managing directors to oversee all marketing activities, delivering impactful campaigns across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker capable of managing multiple brands and leading a small team, with a focus on increasing D2C leads and maintaining B2B relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Full Mix Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies balancing customer acquisition with cross-sell and up-sell initiatives. Utilize customer journey mapping and in-platform techniques to optimise engagement and revenue.
  2. Revenue Growth & Commercial Impact: Drive growth through multi-channel campaigns (PPC, SEO, social media, email, advertising), manage website and social media accounts.
  3. Data-Driven Decision Making: Set KPIs, monitor campaign performance, and report ROI to leadership for continuous improvement.
  4. Team Growth & Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor marketing and sales teams, scaling as needed while maintaining high performance. Serve as the point of contact for marketing inquiries.
  5. Stakeholder & Agency Management: Collaborate with internal teams and manage external agencies for advertising. Oversee trade shows, showrooms, and social media management.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • 5–7+ years in senior marketing roles with success in growing small to mid-sized companies
  • Proven experience in full mix marketing
  • Experience with social media campaigns on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with analytics tools (Google, social media analytics)
  • Experience in multi-brand marketing and growing D2C customer base through multi-channel campaigns
