Role Overview
IUF Group is building something new: a Growth Team that fuses new business sales and marketing into one powerhouse function focused entirely on driving demand, winning clients, and fuelling global expansion.
We’re looking for a Head of Growth Marketing. A big thinker with bold ideas who can shape the marketing side of this new team. You’ll set the strategy, control the budget, and bring fresh innovation to how we drive growth across multiple companies and markets. This is a role for someone who doesn’t just deliver campaigns – but who comes in with a vision, tells us what to do, and makes it happen.
A key part of this role will be building the personal brand of our CEO and bringing the IUF Group story to life. We want to showcase our entrepreneurial energy, our backing, and our global ambition in a way that attracts clients, partners, and top talent. You’ll help us tell that story in bold, creative ways that cut through.
We’re especially looking for someone who has been part of scaling a business from around £10m to £50–100m. You’ll know what it takes to grow at pace, how to professionalise marketing while keeping it fresh and entrepreneurial, and how to use brand and storytelling as engines for scale.
At the start, you’ll be both strategic leader and hands-on operator. You’ll have one direct report (Growth Marketing Executive), plus access to the wider Creative Team (Head of Creative + Graphic Designers) to bring campaigns to life. As the team delivers results and the business scales, you’ll grow the marketing function and build out a bigger team.
You’ll work directly with the Head of New Business Growth in each company to understand what campaigns they need, design marketing activity to support them, and then collaborate with our South Africa-based Business Development team to pull it all together.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a new function from the ground up, driving not just leads and pipeline, but the very way IUF goes to market globally.
What you’ll be doing
- Create and own the Growth Marketing strategy across the IUF Group and all IUF Group companies.
- Bring big ideas and bold moves to how we generate demand and build brand presence.
- Control and optimise the marketing budget, ensuring spend delivers measurable ROI.
- Keep us ahead of the curve with new tools, channels, and approaches.
Campaigns & Execution
- Work with Heads of New Business Growth to define campaign needs by company and market.
- Translate business priorities into smart, high-impact campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Creative Team to deliver assets, decks, social campaigns, and event materials.
- Get hands-on when needed, from writing copy to shaping content. Making sure each campaign lands.
Partnership with Sales
- Partner closely with the South Africa Business Growth Development team to ensure marketing campaigns fuel outreach and lead-gen activity.
- Align campaigns with sales pipeline goals and measure results.
- Create feedback loops with sales heads to refine and adapt campaigns in real time.
Leadership & Growth
- Manage and develop the Growth Marketing Executive.
- Foster a high-performance, creative culture across the Growth Team.
- Build the case for team growth as campaigns succeed and revenue increases.
Data & Insights
- Define and track KPIs for campaign performance, lead generation, and ROI.
- Use insights from data, market trends, and competitor activity to refine strategy.
- Report results and recommendations directly to the Chief Growth Officer.
What We’re Looking For
- 8–10 years’ experience in marketing, with at least 3 years leading strategy and campaigns.
- Proven track record of building and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
- Experience working in B2B, ideally with exposure to technology, media, or experiential sectors.
- Hands-on ability to create, write, and deliver when needed – but a strategic thinker at heart.
- Skilled in collaborating with sales teams and building campaigns that generate pipeline.
- Confident managing budgets and reporting ROI.
- Ambitious, innovative, and commercially sharp.
