What you'll be doing

As our Head of Digital Marketing and Campaigns, you will be instrumental in shaping Bookouture's marketing future. Collaborating closely with the Digital Marketing and Campaigns Director, you will contribute to our comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, driving innovative and results-driven campaigns across all our publishing programmes: Bookouture, Second Sky, and Translate.

A core responsibility will be leading our digital advertising efforts, setting strategy and managing campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, Google, TikTok, and Bookbub. You'll also design and execute creative branding campaigns for high-potential authors and titles, continuously analysing performance to identify growth opportunities and optimise our approach.

You'll play a pivotal role in our organic social media, working with the Communications team to develop engaging strategies for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X/Bluesky, ensuring alignment with paid advertising for fully integrated campaigns. Overseeing reporting to assess account performance and identify effective content will be key.

Email marketing will be another core area of focus, where you'll develop and oversee the strategy across all campaigns, executing paid and organic acquisition initiatives to expand subscriber lists and drive continuous improvement in performance.

Beyond campaign execution, you'll demonstrate a strong growth mindset and owner mentality, providing insights and guidance to the Communications team, monitoring budgets for strong ROI, and presenting key performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.

The ideal candidate will be a highly creative and innovative thinker, adept at conceptualising, managing, and optimising multi-channel campaigns that consistently deliver strong ROI.
