Overview


We’re looking for Digital Marketing Executive with an interest in D2C & ECOM to come on board with our remote team. To clarify what we mean by " Digital Marketing Executive " - Those who can strategise marketing (advertising & email) campaigns, build campaigns in platform, optimise ad campaigns & report on ad campaigns running on social platforms (such as Meta, Pinterest & TikTok). We have an in-house creative team so you're not required to produce creatives, but being able to plan, inform & feedback with/to the creative team is a must!



About the company


Blue Drop Studio in its current form is a small team of three with the addition of a variety of contractors with ambitious plans to grow. We would like to build a team that can help us do just that.



Clients & verticals


We started off by working with smaller Ecommerce brands, typically those doing 10-25k on a monthly basis in revenue; some accounts pull in £2m per month and some around £12k per month. Our current client roster covers Jewellery, Apparel/Fashion, Fitness, Supplements, Cosmetics and Homeware brands. We\'re not sure if we want to specialise in one of these verticals yet. We work with direct-to-consumer online stores and primarily lifestyle brands.

  • Paid Social Advertising, including AD creative editing & UGC sourcing

  • PPC Advertising across Google platforms

  • Email Marketing setups & monthly flow/campaign management



Role details


We are looking for a full time team member for the longer-term journey. This is going to be one of our early hires so there will be lots of opportunity to learn, grow & progress into more senior agency, advertising & ecommerce related roles, if that's something you are looking for.



Responsibilities



  • Planning & strategizing improvements to performance, based on historical data and industry trends & best practices

  • Planning new campaigns for product launches, restocks & events

  • Optimisation of active campaigns to improve performance

  • Measuring & reporting on tests, advertising campaigns and overall account performance

  • Get used to being very organised with your time & actions using our project management tool ClickUp

  • Work with the creative team to produce creatives that convert

  • Show up & communicate



Qualifications



  • Keep a pulse on the evolving digital marketing landscape

  • Watch ads with curiosity

  • Have 1+ years of experience working with at least one of the following digital marketing specialisms: Paid Social, PPC, Email Marketing

  • Nice to haves: TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter

  • Understand Google Analytics and can read advertising analytics



Ideal candidate



  • Strong understanding of Ecommerce & D2C marketing

  • Willingness to try new things and take risks where sensible

  • Ability to read advertising data, analyze and derive learnings



Remote working



  • Regular video calls are a must

  • Good internet connection for video calls

  • We work on UK office hours

  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)

  • Time & productivity management
