OverviewWe’re looking for a Events Marketing Manager who is passionate about the Wise Mission – Money without borders. You’ll be a part of the Wise Platform team, leading the most impactful projects and programmes of work in order to expand our growing list of global partners, helping us deliver world class payment service solutions to our partners and their customers across the EMEA region. This role is based in our London office.Wise Platform is one of the product teams at Wise which empowers banks, fintechs and enterprises to build global payments solutions through their own channels. Wise Platform already powers international payments for some of the world’s largest banks and platforms, including Morgan Stanley, Standard Chartered, Google Pay, Ramp, Brex and Monzo. Role The Wise Platform team has seen significant growth in the last few years, boasting a number of well-known household brands as partners. To help accelerate this growth, we’re now looking for our first events marketing hire to build, execute and scale out our events; driving clear prospect engagement and attributable revenue impact in the region. You’ll need to apply your experience of working with global teams to develop and execute local marketing strategies, measurement and GTM materials. You’ll need to be comfortable in solving challenges and establishing ways of working. You won’t have to do this alone, as you’ll be supported by our wider team of global marketing experts across content, PR, and events. Day-to-day, your primary focus will be to lead Wise Platform's regional event marketing activities for EMEA - supporting the team on running large-scale owned and third-party events, leading and setting up other locally owned events; assisting partners in their GTM plans and campaigns to grow our joint impact. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Enablement, Product, Design, PR and other teams to drive top of the funnel and ongoing engagement with partners at different stages of the sales cycle. Your efforts will directly impact our revenue growth by enabling our commercial teams to sell more, better and faster. Your Mission Event Strategy & PlanningDrive the EMEA events strategy, including developing and owning large-scale event target lists aligned with sales objectives, and leading the event communication lifecycle across email, social, and web campaigns to maximise engagement and ensure successful post-event nurturing. Identify new key third-party industry events that align with commercial goalsLead other local owned events by conceptualising, planning and executing new events end-to-end, such as roundtables, forums, partner launches, product launches, webinars Lead Management & ReportingImplement and own pre-event registrations, lead capture, and follow-up processes in collaboration with the Sales Enablement and Revenue Operations teamsTrack, analyse, and report on event performance against defined KPIs (e.g., leads generated, pipeline influenced, attendance, engagement)Provide post-event analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as a liaison between marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure event objectives are met and sales teams are fully enabled for pre- and post-event activitiesTrain and brief sales teams on event objectives, messaging, and lead qualification processes End-to-End Event Logistics & ExecutionManage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation and management, swag and other collateral orders, and registration platforms and event communications QualificationsAbout YouExperience in running and managing eventsHaving managed and owned event pipeline and event-engagement, lead-management in the pastYou’re a confident communicator able to speak to colleagues and partners with conviction and clarityExcellent verbal and written communication skills and strive to have a customer-first mindsetExperience working in financial services: payments, banking or B2B solutions targeting banks and enterprise partnersSelf-starter and impact-driven: you enjoy taking ownership of projects with limited oversight.
