About the roleData Centre cooling is a strategically important, fast-growing business area for Castrol. With our advanced liquid cooling fluid technology, we strive to transform the industry by driving the adoption of liquid cooling as a pathway to sustainable data centre operation aligned with bp’s Net Zero ambitions. EMEA Marketing Manager creates the right marketing and communication plans for the EMEA Data centre market, supports the Castrol ON brand with the right product portfolio in EMEA, and develops and executes marketing activities in the EMEA data centre thermal management market to help deliver volume, turnover and gross margin targets. EMEA Marketing Manager is responsible for operational marketing excellence across the data centre team and to develop step-out opportunities for Castrol\'s data centre cooling business beyond the core products with focus on new business models and value-added services. A successful candidate works closely with the global Marketing Head of Data Centre and the Castrol LT to build and execute a strong marketing activation plan for EMEA.What you will deliverExecute world-class thermal management marketing plans in the EMEA market, adapting and adopting global thermal management offers as part of the in-market marketing strategyAssist in preparing the annual marketing plan for the DC industry to generate new sales leads for the DC space and ensure that volume, turnover, and gross margin targets are metMonitor key market movements and the competitive landscape in the DC sectors and generate business insights to drive media and market planningIdentify potential areas for offer development based on market needs and share these insights with the global marketing teamAct as a PR content advisor, guiding team members on the general principles of PR material preparationRequirementsAround 3 years of experience in brand, product, and event organization within a B2B environment, with a proven track record of delivering innovative value propositionsAbility to shape and frame ideas through strong conceptual and analytical thinkingProven experience in developing new business and growth areas within a corporate or innovation/start-up contextStrong knowledge of the data centre industry and cooling value chain is a plusHigh level of commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skillsPreferred candidates will demonstrate self-motivation, strong execution, and excellent communication skillsTrack record of working collaboratively across functionsProficient in written and spoken English is a mustWhy Join our team?At bp, we provide an excellent working environment and employee benefits such as an open and inclusive culture, a great work-life balance, tremendous learning and development opportunities to craft your career path, life and health insurance, medical care package and many others.
