The Biltmore Mayfair, an iconic five-star hotel in the heart of Londons most prestigious neighbourhood, is seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Sales & Marketing to join its executive leadership team. We are looking for a commercially astute leader with a proven track record in the London luxury hospitality market someone who brings elegance, ambition, and precision to every commercial decision. With a refined understanding of the high-end corporate, leisure, and MICE landscape, you will be entrusted with shaping the hotels commercial strategy and market positioning. This is a unique opportunity to elevate an already distinguished property through bold, proactive sales initiatives and inspirational team leadership. The successful candidate will be driven, results-oriented, and capable of translating luxury into lasting revenue performance. Director of Sales & Marketing responsible for: Manage hotel sales plans and strategy to ensure they accurately interpret and support the objectives of the business and use these plans to focus the sales efforts for all market segments Create a sales missions/tradeshow calendar to drive new business in key markets Monitor offers and options for repeat bookings for meetings, conferences, incentives and events in close cooperation with the Groups, Conference and Events Team Actively participate and complete the preparation of the annual Sales Strategy, provide monthly updates and results. Execute initiatives as outlined; swiftly implement strategies/tactics to offset changes in markets, economy or driven by the competitive set. Organize and/or attend scheduled group and related meetings Contribute to the development of company sales initiatives by recommending, implementing and monitoring appropriate local and global sales activity Together with the Managing Director, organize comprehensive information describing the range of products and services offered by the hotel and deliver this information through relevant sales resources and sales channels to existing and potential Guests Cooperate with other departments in the hotel, particularly, Commercial, Reservations and the Banqueting Department, to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong relationships Provide commercial leadership to the sales team with full time property presence and full participation in the hotel leadership team and focus on total hotel revenue generation Active development of new business demand, accounts and leads to support future growth of the business Prepare Corporate contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions Director of Sales & Marketing will have Previous experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing in a luxury hotel. It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Knowledge of the local market, Knowledge of hospitality industry, Proven ability to close a sale, A passion for sales and target-based performance.
