Job Description
The Director of Global Solution and Customer Marketing leads a high-performing team focused on driving pipeline and revenue growth across the customer lifecycle: from onboarding and adoption to expansion, renewal, and advocacy.
This strategic role oversees the creation of solution-led campaigns, customer advocacy, content strategy, and performance measurement, ensuring all initiatives align with business priorities and sales plays. With accountability for install base campaign strategy, content governance, and pipeline impact, this role champions a results-driven marketing culture built on accountability, innovation, and ongoing optimisation.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership
Provide strategic direction for the Global Solution and Customer Marketing function, ensuring alignment with go-to-market priorities and operational excellence in a performance-driven environment. Lead a global team of solution marketing managers, content strategists and advocacy strategists, fostering an inclusive team culture. Champion accountability, transparency, and measurable impact across all marketing activities.
Campaign Strategy
Build and govern solution messaging frameworks and campaign plans working with global and regional teams, ensuring alignment with sales plays and pipeline targets. Set and govern campaign SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) targets, supporting account selection and prioritization in partnership with sales and regional teams.
Campaign Content
Translate value propositions from Product Marketing into compelling, relevant messaging and assets, informed by customer insights and feedback. Create and oversee campaign content kits, briefs, hero content, solution guides, core messaging guides, landing pages, email copy, and more. Ensure content is optimized for performance across channel.
SEO & AEO Content
Drive thought leadership through blogs, PR, videos, website content, and AI chatbot sequences, maximizing reach and engagement.
Performance & Optimization
Own rolled-up marketing pipeline and revenue targets by play, measuring impact and acting to fill gaps. Drive and generate pipeline via solution-led campaigns, continuously optimizing for conversion and revenue growth. Manage marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI.
Customer Advocacy
Build and scale customer advocacy programs, including success stories, references, and community initiatives and events. Partner with sales and customer services to identify and activate advocates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with global campaigns, regional marketing, partner marketing, and sales teams to ensure campaign alignment and execution. Work closely with product marketing to support solution launches, market research, competitive analysis, and positioning. Collaborate with brand and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity.

Experience setting and governing SQL targets and campaign KPIs.

Required Education & Experience
B2B marketing with experience in solution marketing and customer marketing.
Strong understanding of enterprise software, AI, cloud platforms, and digital transformation.
Experience working with in or alongside AI, cloud, data, or emerging technology sectors.
Proven success leading strategic global marketing initiatives and teams.
Significant experience with campaign strategy, content creation, SEO/AEO, and performance measurement.
Demonstrated success operating in a matrixed global organization, influencing cross-functional teams and delivering joint outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
