About the Role

The Director, Digital Marketing will lead our global digital strategy, driving measurable growth through data-driven, full-funnel marketing initiatives. This role oversees a team of digital marketers and agency partners to execute scalable campaigns across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and web. You will manage our digital marketing budget, optimize customer journeys, and leverage automation and AI to improve processes and performance. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll connect online and offline experiences, track pipeline impact, and deliver innovative strategies that generate high-quality traffic and demand.

What you will be doing

  • Report directly to Vice President of Global Demand Generation, and serve as the Digital Marketing team lead — guiding everything from strategy to execution
  • Manage an agile team of web & digital marketers; and collaborate with advertising, creative, web, and other marketing agencies to scale demand generation campaigns and initiatives
  • Own a global Digital Marketing budget, and find areas of opportunity for efficiency
  • Onboard and manage the Ad Agency of record
  • Responsible for driving measurable growth through data-driven online marketing strategies
  • Recommend and execute strategies to develop robust customer journeys, bridging the gap from online to offline. Track and scrutinize pipeline sourced from digital marketing channels, from impression to customer, and analyze information to improve data-driven decision-making. Generate quality traffic to the company’s website and experiences
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing Campaign Director & Content team to activate topical multi-touch digital campaigns
  • Use automation and AI to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support a rapidly growing organization
  • Manage priorities and timelines effectively to meet critical deadlines
  • Educate internal teams on digital marketing best practices, and impacts of online efforts on overall demand generation programming

What we are looking for

  • 7+ years of experience owning B2B full-funnel digital marketing strategy; proven ability to manage Ad Agency of Record — Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, etc.
  • Experience in website strategy and managing Web agencies
  • Expert understanding of cost-based ad metrics (CPM, CPC, CTR, etc.), and balancing lead quality and quantity to contribute to pipeline targets
  • Growth focused with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Balanced analytical and creative mindset

Compensation

At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated compensation range for this position is £100,000 - £150,000, but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
