Prospectus is excited to be working with our client to recruit a Direct Marketing Manager (Acquisition) to join their team.

The group is a unique and dynamic membership organisation consisting of 15 of the UK’s leading humanitarian agencies.

Since its founding in 1963, the organisation has run over 78 fundraising appeals, raising more than £2.4 billion to support disaster-affected communities worldwide.

Role Details

This is a permanent position with a salary of £40,560 per annum, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.

The Direct Marketing Manager (Acquisition) will deliver key direct marketing activities during appeals for major disasters or emergencies. The role involves working closely with the Head of Public Fundraising and relevant staff to develop and execute direct marketing strategies for appeals, utilizing a supporter database for communication via email, SMS, and direct mail. The manager will also identify new fundraising channels and ideas to enhance income generation and lead benchmarking of Member Agency fundraising performance following each Period of Joint Action (PJA).

Candidate Profile

They are seeking someone with demonstrable experience in direct marketing, particularly in high-volume donor acquisition. The ideal candidate will have expertise in direct mail, email, and SMS campaigns, with a proven track record of developing effective digital and direct marketing strategies that significantly increase income. Knowledge of direct marketing initiatives within an International Development context and experience working in the international sector are highly desirable.
