Digital Product Manager
role is pivotal for our Hive and British Gas brands to design world-class user-experiences across our digital products, working with design and engineering teams to ensure alignment with commercial goals and customer needs.

Digital Product Manager
in our
Flex Energy
team, you'll help shape innovative propositions that engage customers in the energy transition. Working alongside a Senior Product Manager, you'll turn strategy into roadmaps, support delivery squads, and ensure customers with eco-tech such as EVs, heat pumps, solar, and batteries get real value from our products.
Responsibilities of the role:
Support the Senior Product Manager in defining vision, strategy, and roadmaps for Flex Energy. Translate product vision into a roadmap that you will own and progress. Own and maintain product backlogs, ensuring priorities are clear and delivery squads understand the "what" and "why." Drive the development of compelling digital journeys and end-to-end customer experiences. Collaborate with a squad of designers, engineers, analysts, and commercial teams to deliver product outcomes. Gather and act on customer feedback to resolve pain points and improve NPS. Establish and monitor product performance, support continuous improvement, and manage bug fixes. Keep stakeholders informed and engaged on plans, progress, and opportunities. Stay close to market and competitor trends to identify new ideas and use cases. Share best practice in product management and contribute to an open, collaborative team culture. Here's what we're looking for:
Digital Product Management or relevant experience. Experience working cross functional product, design and tech teams. Strong technical skills with either web and mobile development, Salesforce experience is a plus. Significant experience of defining user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to define and scope new product features. Significant experience of product backlog management and feature / ticket prioritisation. Experience in product, digital delivery, or energy/eco-tech. Experience of working in agile project delivery teams. Strong prioritisation skills to ensure the right things are worked on in the right order. Excellent communication skills: whether it's explaining complex technical architecture or articulating the benefits of the product to different stakeholders, you adapt your message to fit the audience and keep it simple wherever possible. Excellent problem-solving skills: you take time to understand the issue(s) and enjoy finding different solutions that make use of the available tools. Data-driven: you are passionate about using data to support your analysis and decision-making. Experience in working in cross-functional teams across large, complex organisations is a plus.
