Digital Marketing Account Manager
New Yesterday
We are looking for an outgoing, digitally-savvy individual with previous digital marketing experience to join our operations team and help our clients achieve their goals.
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per year based on experience
- Annual leave: 32 days (24 days + 8 bank holidays)
- 37.5 hours per week with flexible working hours to start earlier or finish later
- Hybrid role: 2x days per week in the office, 3x days remotely
As a Digital Marketing Account Manager, you will:
- Play a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with our clients
- Project manage work on our client’s accounts to ensure our high levels of service delivery are consistently maintained every day, week, and month
- Be supported by our Senior Digital Marketing Account Manager and work closely with our PPC specialists as part of a small, dynamic team in Leicester
- Work with a wide range of clients, from scrappy ecommerce brands to large established charities, and everything in between.
What’s in it for you?
- You will be forced to learn new stuff. Dedicated training time on the company dime is a requirement. We also do weekly skill share sessions.
- Expect to learn rapidly. Our team is ambitious and smart. Digital marketing changes daily and we move fast.
- You’ll work with lovely people and clients, most of whom we have worked with for years.
- Build multidisciplinary skills. In a small team, expect to get your hands dirty on projects across the business in sales, marketing, and whatever key project we are working on to drive the business forward.
What are we looking for?
- An individual with some previous experience working in digital, and ideally with freelance or agency experience
- Someone who can show how they’ve helped customers to succeed, solve problems, and has built strong, lasting relationships with them
- Someone who is a forward thinking marketer, with a strong desire to learn, develop their skills, and continue their career in digital marketing.
This job is not for you if:
- You have no previous experience in digital marketing
- You’re not able to explain how the Google Ads auction works
- You don’t like talking to people by phone, on video calls, or in person
- You are unable to work from our office in Leicester 2 days per week
We offer flexible working, with an office based in Leicester city centre at the LCB Depot. Our team works at least 2 days per week in the office.
Who are we?
Anuncia is a specialist pay-per-click (PPC) digital marketing agency based in Leicester. Over the last 7 years we have grown to a team of 5 working with 35+ clients. Our service offering is primarily Google Ads and Microsoft Ads management, and increasingly Meta and LinkedIn Ads management as well. We are experts in Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
We work with businesses and charities across a variety of sectors. As a specialist partner, we bring best-in-industry skills and cutting edge knowledge to drive performance.
We are one of a tiny number of specialists in working with charities and non-profits, helping them to maximise value from the Google Ad Grant programme.
We also work with select multi-million pound businesses across ecommerce, IT and travel.
We are a small, dynamic team and we focus on helping both our clients and our staff thrive. We expect our team members to constantly build their skills, learn new things, push out of their comfort zone, and help their teammates.
Details of the role
The best account managers are efficient, problem solvers, and love to help people. Some of the key requirements we’re looking for in this role are:
- An ability to build and sustain strong working relationships with clients, including having difficult conversations and dealing with client challenges.
- A focus on the goals of each client as well as an awareness of Anuncia’s objectives. The successful applicant will have a strategic and commercial mindset.
- An understanding of what our agency offers and a desire to be relentless in reaching, or surpassing, the standards we set.
- Attention to detail. The successful candidate will know what is happening to each account at all times and ensure they are kept on track.
- Taking responsibility for the accounts you manage and always striving to add value wherever possible.
You will be the key point of contact for the accounts you are assigned to, managing projects in an agreed direction, anticipating and reacting to developments, and keeping the right people informed.
In an average week, you would likely be doing most of the following:
- Checking task and project progress for your clients
- Working with our PPC specialists to understand ad performance
- Prioritising account tasks as required

- Reviewing account performance and trends
- Monitoring return on investment (ROI) and profitability of accounts
- Checking in with clients for specific requests, questions or updates
- Improving internal project management processes

In addition, some of your time may be spent on our marketing and business development work:
- Looking for opportunities to upsell other services to existing clients
- Monitoring our website Analytics
- Creating and planning marketing content and campaigns
- Writing proposals
- Managing and optimising the onboarding process for new clients
