Job Description
We’re looking for a creative leader with vision, craft, and a restless drive to push boundaries. As Creative Director, you’ll set the artistic tone across pioneering projects while shaping a world-class team of designers, artists, and technologists working across London, Berlin, and remote.
This role is hands-on and high-impact, balancing creative leadership with execution. You’ll steer work from first spark to final delivery, all while guiding a team that thrives on experimentation, collaboration, and new ideas.
You’ll also be a key part of the senior team, helping evolve the studio’s identity and leading the charge on future-forward visual storytelling for global clients. We’re after someone who lives at the intersection of design, tech, and narrative, a sharp thinker, bold maker, and natural communicator.
What You’ll Be Doing
Creative Direction
- Set the creative direction across all projects, ensuring work feels fresh, bold, and unmistakably distinctive.
- Guide and mentor a multidisciplinary creative team, championing exploration and raising the bar.
- Stay hands-on: ideating, scripting, storyboarding, and refining concepts.
- Shape the evolution of the studio’s creative voice and visual language.
- Introduce and evolve processes that make space for innovation without sacrificing quality.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a cross-functional creative team across disciplines and geographies.
- Create an environment of growth, curiosity, and high standards.
- Be a mentor and support system, helping individuals grow, creatively and professionally.
- Play a key role in hiring and team development as the studio expands.
Creative Execution
- Oversee the creative output from pitch through to final delivery.
- Develop treatments, design strategies, and visual directions that excite and deliver.
- Navigate the balance between creative ambition and production realities - on time, on budget, on brief.
Client Leadership & Studio Growth
- Serve as the main creative contact for clients, translating ideas, building trust, and championing bold thinking.
- Lead creative pitches and help shape the strategic direction of brand partnerships.
- Keep a commercial lens on creative decisions, aligning vision with business goals.
- Spot new opportunities and help fuel the studio’s creative and commercial evolution.
What You Bring
Creative & Technical Mastery
- A track record of leading standout creative work, particularly at the intersection of design, motion, and emerging tech.
- Comfortable working across digital, CG, and interactive experiences.
- Deep understanding of tools like Houdini, Unreal, Redshift, or at least how to collaborate with artists using them.
- Strong storytelling instincts and a sense for future aesthetics, not just current trends.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Experience building and running high-performing creative teams.
- Clear, compelling communicator with excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
- Collaborative mindset - works well with producers, strategists, and technologists alike.
Strategic Thinking & Business Awareness
- Comfortable contributing to business strategy and commercial planning.
- Able to balance creativity with pragmatism, what moves the needle for clients and the studio.
- Proven ability to lead pitches and win work.
- Confident participating in high-level studio planning and leadership discussions.
