The Role: This is a fast‑paced, creative, and hands‑on role for someone who lives and breathes content and culture. As our Content & Marketing Partnerships Executive, you will be Ruuby’s in‑house content creator and storyteller – responsible for developing thumb‑stopping content across social platforms, and uncovering the stories that bring the Ruuby brand to life. From ideating and scripting Reels, to editing ads for paid campaigns, to turning around carousel posts and static imagery at pace – you’ll be at the heart of how we show up online. At the same time, you’ll act as a collaboration scout – constantly plugged into what’s happening in beauty, fashion, culture and wellness. You’ll identify emerging influencers, creators, and brand partners to collaborate with – creating culturally relevant content and brand moments that add resonance and cultural capital to Ruuby. This is not a social media manager or strategic partnerships or influencer management role – it’s about being on the ground, with strong creative instinct, and the ability to bring ideas to life quickly through content and brand collaborations. Content Creation & Storytelling
Act as Ruuby’s in‑house content creator, owning day‑to‑day content production across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) Film, edit, and produce original content across formats – including short‑form video, carousels, static imagery, and stories – for both organic and paid use across all Ruuby markets. Ideate and develop reactive, story‑led content that aligns with Ruuby’s tone of voice and brand aesthetic Capture behind‑the‑scenes footage at events and brand activations. Write compelling captions and social copy that reflect Ruuby’s luxury‑yet‑relatable voice. Stay up to date with social trends, audio formats, and viral styles to keep content fresh, relevant, and high‑performing. Maintain an organised content calendar and repurpose content across formats and platforms as needed.
Cultural Awareness & Trend Spotting
Keep a constant pulse on what’s trending in beauty, fashion, wellness, and lifestyle – from viral treatments to emerging creators. Identify timely and relevant opportunities for Ruuby to engage in cultural conversations or trending moments. Regularly pitch fresh, creative ideas to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
Partnerships & Collaborations
Identify and source aligned collaborations, creators, influencers and brand partners that complement Ruuby’s brand and audience. Manage influencer gifting, reaching out to offer complimentary treatments in exchange for potential coverage or community exposure (no contractual requirements) Support the execution of collaborative content and mini‑campaigns with partners – including ideation, content capture, and rollout. Help bring brand partnerships to life through engaging content, event presence, or pop‑up activations. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure consistency across all Ruuby content and partnerships.
Skills & Experience
Proven ability to create engaging, trend‑aware social content, whether through personal channels, brand work, or freelance projects. Strong editing skills across formats, confident cutting and optimising content for video ads, carousels, and static assets at speed. Comfortable filming, editing, and producing short‑form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts – both behind the camera and on‑screen. Skilled in tools like CapCut, Canva, or equivalent editing software. Strong visual storytelling and aesthetic instincts – you know how to make content feel elevated, on‑brand, and culturally relevant. Excellent captioning and copywriting skills, with a clear understanding of tone of voice and audience nuance. Naturally plugged into the world of beauty, creators, and culture – always ahead of what’s trending. Experience collaborating with or creating content for/with influencers, creators, or tastemakers. A self‑starter who thrives in an agile environment and loves translating ideas into content.
