We have an exclusive and exciting opportunity for a talented Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing to join a senior management team and drive the growth of three highly regarded hotels in the South. This role is to focus on national Meetings & Events business both agency and direct corporate and establish these properties as destinations.
These stylish hotels are premier choices for business and leisure guests, conference attendees and families. With a commitment to excellence, the company offers designer rooms, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, exceptional dining experiences and luxurious spa and leisure facilities. Known for their dedication to guest satisfaction and employee development, this leading hospitality management company is poised for continued growth and success.
This is a hybrid/remote ro le, requiring 1-2 days on-site at the hotels and the remainder remotely and most importantly out seeing clients and prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
Drive UK and international inbound sales revenue from all segments, with a focus on MICE, Corporate, Leisure, Sport Group, and Consortia
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of feeder markets and design strategies for new business
Cultivate strong relationships with customers, agents, destination management companies, and associations to position the properties as desirable destinations
Oversee the properties' sales operation, marketing, promotions, communication, and public relations
Explore brand partnership opportunities and lead digital marketing strategies to increase property exposure
Review customer data for new leads and develop strong relationships with tourism boards and DMCs
Attend industry events, manage familiarisation trips, and ensure sales plans align with business needs
Lead and mentor a talented sales team, creating account development plans and ensuring all collateral is up-to-date and high quality
Who Theyre Looking for:
Proven track record in a senior sales role within the hospitality sector, ideally with experience in MICE and group sales
Detail-oriented with a proven track record of follow-through and delivery
Excellent presentation skills and a structured, systematic sales approach
Self-confidence and the ability to interact at all levels
A great network of relevant global contacts
Commercial thinking, results-driven approach, and a sociable nature
Ability to direct collaboration among functional teams
