Role Summary

Ulster Carpets Group has created a new Executive Board position – Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) – to accelerate growth and strengthen its global market position. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this Board‑level role combines a data‑driven and customer‑focused approach with performance management and inspirational leadership, ensuring marketing is aligned to sales objectives and stretching the potential of a large international team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute bold sales strategies to drive growth and open new premium markets.
  • Lead and inspire a large, high‑performing international sales team.
  • Align marketing initiatives with sales objectives to maximise commercial impact.
  • Provide data‑driven decision making and performance management across multiple geographies and premium brands.
  • Represent Ulster Carpets Group at Board level, providing strategic vision and executional focus.

Qualifications

  • At least ten years’ experience in large‑scale international FF&E businesses.
  • Minimum of five years at Divisional Director level or above.
  • Proven track record of driving international growth and aligning sales and marketing across multiple geographies.
  • Commercially astute and financially disciplined, with strategic vision and executional focus.
  • Experience building and inspiring high‑performing teams that deliver measurable results.
