About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Marketing Officer to provide strategic marketing leadership during a period of maternity leave.
This role will work directly with our Co-CEOs and senior leadership team to guide our marketing strategy, evaluate current marketing effectiveness, and identify opportunities for improvement across the marketing function.
This position requires a commitment of one day per week (8 hours) and offers a flexible working arrangement, with occasional collaboration from our London Bridge office.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in strategic marketing leadership from a B2B background, and have the agility to operate effectively in a fractional capacity.
The contract is scheduled to begin in early December 2025 for a period of 9-12 months on a consultancy basis.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership (40%)
- Refine the overall marketing strategy for 2026 aligned with business objectives
- Provide strategic counsel to Co-CEOs on marketing initiatives and market positioning
- Identify new market opportunities and growth channels
- Oversee brand strategy and ensure consistent brand messaging
- Conduct comprehensive review of current marketing activities and performance
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop recommendations for marketing process improvements
Team Guidance & Collaboration (20%)
- Provide mentorship and strategic direction to the marketing team - a team of 4 (Senior Marketing Exec taking over some responsibilities from the current Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Executive, Designer)
Performance & Reporting (10%)
- Monitor key marketing metrics and KPIs
- Provide monthly strategic reports to senior leadership
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strategic planning: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies
- Leadership: Experience working with C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Fractional experience: Previous experience in interim, fractional, or consultancy CMO roles preferred
- B2B marketing experience
