The role and responsibilities

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Campaigns and Marketing Business Lead for a nine-month fixed-term contract starting in October 2025 to shape and deliver TPR's marketing and campaign functions. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-impact, insight-driven communications that influence behaviour, improve compliance, and protect pension savers.

  • Lead the development and implementation of TPR’s marketing and campaign strategies
  • Translate corporate priorities into measurable communications plans
  • Oversee the delivery of integrated, multi-channel campaigns and direct communications
  • Own the strategy and performance of TPR’s marketing channels, including digital, social, email, and direct mail
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with government communications standards and spending controls
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to campaign delivery and service performance
  • Represent the function at senior forums and contribute to organisation-wide decision-making

The role criteria

  • Extensive experience leading strategic, multi-channel marketing and communications programmes
  • Proven ability to deliver behaviour change campaigns and direct communications at scale
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, including matrix and cross-functional working
  • Expertise in supplier and contract management, including performance frameworks
  • Experience in budget management and business case development
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive performance
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels
