Remote (Northern UK) with travel to Leeds / Manchester / Sheffield

Salary:

£45,000–£60,000 base + Uncapped Commission (OTE ~£90,000–£120,000)

We're hiring a driven Business Development Executive to join a fast-growing technology consultancy delivering innovative software and data solutions. With strong demand and ambitious growth plans, they're expanding their sales team in the North.

As a Business Development Executive, you'll focus on new business acquisition while supporting the growth of strategic accounts. You'll work closely with experienced business development managers and delivery teams, gaining exposure to end-to-end solution sales and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities across Northern UK. Engage decision-makers and build relationships at senior level. Support solution-based sales conversations in data, software, and cloud services. Collaborate with senior colleagues to scope proposals and win new projects. Maintain pipeline activity and accurate CRM records. Attend client meetings, company events, and industry networking sessions. What we're looking for

Experience in a sales or business development role within IT recruitment, software consultancy, or technology services. Strong relationship-building skills and a natural ability to influence. Ambition to progress into a consultative, solution-led sales career. Knowledge of technology (cloud, data, or software) is an advantage but not essential.
