We are working with a leading Tier 1 Principle Contractor to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for a major construction projects across London. The business delivers high-profile schemes predominantly in the commercial sector, alongside education and healthcare developments, and offers strong career progression within a stable, well respected organisation. About the Assistant Site Manager role As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Senior Site manager in the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinate subcontractors, maintaining programme targets and upholding site compliance. Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Site Manager Supporting site management teams in delivering projects from start to completion Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring quality of workmanship Assisting with short term programming and progress reporting Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained Managing Site documentation, inspections and permits Liaising with design teams, consultants and supply chain partners Requirements for the Assistant Site Manager Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within construction with a principle contractor Experience on commercial projects, education & healthcare also desirable Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction management desirable Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing Excellent communication and organisational skills SMSTS and CSCS First Aid Qualification What is on offer?
