About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the management team at Langans Brasserie . In this role, youll ensure the seamless daily operation of the restaurant , deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support the Restaurant Manager in driving team performance, profitability, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence Oversee the smooth running of each restaurant shift, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
Support the delivery of business strategies to maximize revenue and control costs.
Maintain compliance with health and safety, and food hygiene standards.
Ensure accurate Right to Work and compliance checks are completed for all new hires.
Customer Experience Consistently exceed guest expectations by fostering a culture of proactive service.
Actively seek and respond to customer feedback to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain strong relationships with regular guests and the local community.
Team Leadership & Development Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team with clear goals and expectations.
Support training and mentoring programs to promote skill development and career growth.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and maintain grooming and hygiene standards.
Financial Management Monitor financial performance using forecasting and key performance indicators.
Manage stock control, audits, and cost efficiencies without compromising service quality.
Support the implementation of sales initiatives and staff incentives to boost performance.
Health & Safety Uphold all health and safety legislation and internal standards.
Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and respond promptly to any incidents.
Continuous Improvement Drive change by reviewing and improving service delivery and operational processes.
Communicate effectively across departments to maintain a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Ensure all standard operating procedures are up to date and followed.
About You Previous experience in a high-volume, premium restaurant as an Assistant Manager or similar role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Financial acumen and experience with stock control and forecasting.
A proactive, hands-on approach and passion for hospitality.
