Working in an innovative and energetic environment, no two days are the same. You’ll gain hands-on experience in the wide number of roles, from Internal Communications and Media Relations to Campaigns, Insights, Brand and Events.What the day could look likeWorking with a Campaign Activation Manager to brief Aon’s digital agency on a demand program which includes paid LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Search and content syndicationMeeting with business partners to understand their growth prioritiesPlaying an active part in delivering an Aon event attended by 100 clientsSupporting a Campaign Manager to plan a marketing campaign and map the customer journeyCommunicating to more than 6,000 employees in the UKWorking alongside our Media Relations team and PR agencies to develop press releases and field media enquiriesYour DevelopmentDuring our Industrial placement programme, you will be enrolled onto our award-winning development programme, where over the 12 months, you will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of insightful and interactive training and development activities in addition to your role. Here are couple of key elements of our development programme:Business learning. On the job learning and experiences enabling you to develop your knowledge and understanding of your team and solution lineCentralised learning. UK graduates complete in an Aon Induction, monthly webinars, business skills training and workshops; all designed to develop your knowledge of Aon, build your confidence and your network across our businessWhen you begin your Aon placement, you will have time with your line manager to discuss your goals and over your 12-month programme you will receive feedback and supportYour career beyond your Industrial PlacementOnce you’ve completed the industrial placement programme, depending on your performance, you may be offered a role on our graduate programme for the following year.Next StepsIf you are interested in this programme and would like to apply, here is some useful information:Entry Requirements:On track to achieve a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in any degree subject (ideally marketing, communications, or a general business subject area)Right to workPlease be aware for future opportunities, including graduate roles, applicants must have their own right to work within the UK where you can maintain and demonstrate your right to work throughout the duration of your employment. This helps us to provide support and advice to our clients with clarity and confidence to enable revenue growthLocationsWe have graduate opportunities this year in the following locations: LondonWe recognise the value for our Early Career colleagues of being in the office environment from the beginning of their programme. As a new industrial placement, you will spend the first 6 months based in the office to support your learning, development, and progression. This will enable you access to support from managers, collaborate with colleagues as well as grow your network across Aon. After completing this initial training period, you will then have the opportunity to work more flexibly, spending at least 3 to 4 days face to face in the Aon office or with clients.Due to the nature of the work, there may be occasions where you are required to travel in the UK and work outside of your normal working hours to support with events or projects.How we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
